- Entrepreneurs: Real estate entrepreneurs can apply for the UAE Golden Visa if they meet one or more of the following three conditions:
- Own a start-up company registered as a small and medium enterprise (SME) in the UAE that generates annual revenues of no less than AED 1 million.
- Have founded an entrepreneurial project that was sold for more than AED 7 million.
- Have approval for a start-up from an official business incubator.
- Exceptional Talents: People with exceptional talents in fields such as culture, art, sports, digital technology, and innovation can apply for the UAE Golden Visa. This category is not restricted to any particular nationality or age group, and applicants are evaluated based on their achievements and contributions to their field.
- Scientists: Scientists and researchers with high achievements and influence in their field can apply for the UAE Golden Visa if they receive a recommendation from the Emirates Scientists Council. Potential candidates in this category should have a PhD or a Master’s Degree in areas such as engineering, technology, life sciences, and natural sciences from the best universities in the world, as well as substantial research achievements.
- Professionals: Professionals or highly-skilled workers with high educational qualifications and professional experience can apply for the UAE Golden Visa. This category applies across many disciplines, such as medicine, science and engineering, information technology, business and administration, education, law, culture, and social sciences. Applicants must have an employment contract in the UAE, hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, and their salary must be AED 30,000 or above per month.
- Outstanding Students and Graduates: Outstanding and high-achieving students in the UAE’s secondary school system, as well as outstanding graduates from the UAE’s universities and the top 100 universities worldwide, are eligible to apply for the UAE Golden Visa. Students from top universities worldwide with a GPA of 3.8 and above are eligible to apply for the visa. High school students who have obtained an average rate of at least 95 per cent in the high school certificate from public or private schools are also eligible, and their families will also be included in the visa.
- Humanitarian pioneers: Humanitarian pioneers are able to apply for the UAE golden visa. Humanitarian pioneers are counted as distinguished members of international or regional charitable organisations, or those who are members of associations of public benefit.
- Front line Hero’s: Healthcare staff and other frontline workers who have played an active role in helping during extraordinary circumstances such as the COVID-19 pandemic can apply for the UAE golden visa. These individuals are considered to be heroes and are eligible for the visa as a token of appreciation for their valuable services. This includes doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare workers who have worked tirelessly to provide medical care and support during the pandemic.
The UAE Golden Visa can also be extended to include the visa holder’s spouse, children, one executive director, and one advisor.
